At last year’s Australian MotoGP, Suzuki rider Chris Vermeulen ran a special Barry Sheene tribute livery on his GSV-R. Now, the UK-based Stamford Superbike are doing a limited edition GSX-R1000 that’s done up like Vermeulen’s Sheene-tribute GP bike!
Only six of these K7-model GSX-R1000s are being made, and each brand-new, zero-miles bike is priced at the equivalent of US$18,600. Bikes come with a full Suzuki UK warranty and a free Arrow exhaust system. More details at the Stamford website here.

This, according to MCN, is a 'leaked' sketch of the KTM RC4. The bike is fitted with KTM's 654cc single-cylinder engine, which supposedly makes 78bhp here (rather than 65bhp, as used in the company's other 690-series bikes). And according to MCN, the bike weighs 132 kilos and can hit a top speed of about 225km/h. Cool...!
