First pics and video: 2009 Aprilia Shiver 750 GT

The 2009 Aprilia Shiver 750 GT, with ABS

Aprilia have released the first pics of the 2009 Shiver 750 GT sports-tourer. The bike gets a small fairing, anti-lock brakes (ABS) and three riding modes – sport, touring and rain – with the fuel injection mapping set up to optimize power delivery to suit each individual mode.

The Shiver 750 GT will continue with the earlier v-twin, which makes 95bhp and 81Nm of torque. However, with the addition of that fairing and the ABS plumbing etc, the GT is likely to weigh a few more kilos than the regular 189kg Shiver.

The regular Aprilia Shiver 750, Dorsoduro 750 and the 850 Mana also get ABS and the tri-mode fuel-injection maps. And Aprilia are expected to show the 850 Mana GT at the EICMA show in Milan next month…
