Michael Jackson dies of cardiac arrest

And nothin' gonna stop me, ain't no stop and go. I'm speedin' on the midway, I gotta really burn this road. (He say) pull over boy and get your ticket right...
[Speed Demon, Michael Jackson]

Pop music king of the 1980s, Michael Jackson passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack. He was 50 years old.

Jackson, who was already in a coma at the time of being taken to a hospital in Los Angeles, was pronounced dead when his body was brought to the hospital. Michael was scheduled to launch a comeback tour at London's O2 Arena in July this year.

While his life was littered with scandals, lawsuits and other assorted trouble, the man was undeniably, hugely talented. He was one of the greatest musicians and performers of all time. And yes, his music was definitely a memorable part of our growing up years in the 1980s. There will never be another Michael Jackson. R.I.P.

You're preachin' 'bout my life like you're the law, gonna live each day and hour like for me there's no tomorrow. Go! Go! Go! AAOW!

Really shocked, he deserves a post here, even in a bike blog.

I believe he was very big in India, I think each and every Indian movies with dance moves are inspired by him..! :)

Probably the greatest western celebrity/music artist. He was identified not only in urban areas and cities but also in rural and remote places of the world. He was the full package- great voice, dance s'if he were on the moon, very good song writing. Consistently good music for over a decade.

It simply wouldn't have been right if MJ passed away in his sleep at 75 years of age. He HAD to go like this. He was a showman. He lived like a rock star, he died like one. Rest in peace, Jacko.
