We're sure the Concept E-go will form the basis for a production-ready electric bike from Husqvarna at sometime in the near future...

Earlier in the day we posted the first pics of BMW’s electric scooter, the Concept e, and now we have for you the Husqvarna E-go, which Husqvarna claim is ‘a bike for the young riders of the future.’ Ahem. But it’s not just any old electric bike – according to the company, the E-go ‘boasts an explosive mix of road, off-road and supermotard experiences.’

The single-seater Husqvarna E-go weighs in at 80 kilos and is fitted with interesting bits like single-side fork and swingarm. Husqvarna haven’t provided any details of the bike’s battery pack or electric motor, but they do say the E-go is ‘Husqvarna's solution to electric motorcycling’ and that it has been designed to ‘enthuse the young generation to the spirit of riding and freedom.’ Hmmm... well, at least it looks a bit more interesting than the BMW Concept e...
