The BMW F800R gets new colours for 2012...

For 2012, BMW Motorrad have provided a ‘visual makeover’ for the F800R, which was launched back in 2009. ‘Technically, the new F800R will retain its well proven concept. The engine is still the liquid-cooled parallel twin with 4-valve technology and a capacity of 798cc. The highly distinctive engine provides impressive pulling power, a spontaneous response and a low level of fuel consumption. The engine output is 87bhp at 8000rpm and 86Nm of torque at 6000 revs,’ says a press note from BMW.

ABS is optional on the new F800R and the bike weighs 177kg dry. Available in Alpine white/Black satin gloss, Magma red/White aluminium metallic matt and Mineral silver metallic paint options, the 2012 BMW F800R is priced at 8,400 euros and will go on sale in December this year.
