Markus Hofmann Re:Boots the BMW S1000RR
Ace photographer from Germany, Markus Hofmann has been at it again, shooting a new series of some hot new photographs of BMW’s top-of-the-line superbike, the S1000RR. Called ‘Re:Boot,’ the new series of pics feature two 20-year-old Brazilian models, Marcella Correia and Rafaela Bosi, who turn up the heat on BMW’s 190-horsepower road-rocket.
With the Re:Boot series, Hofmann has tried to shoot the BMW S1000RR in a setting that’s erotic, luxurious and fashionable, all at once. With the help of some especially clever light installations, Hofmann has created an impressive series of fashion images that exhibit the contrast of the BMW’s strength and the raw power, offset by the two models’ feminine softness and sensual seductiveness.
‘My new photo series, ‘Re:Boot,’ stands for a new beginning. When I planned the series, I wanted to show the subtle power of a reduced composition that creates a direct and almost magic connection with the viewer, to create a high-class and involving homage to man and machine,’ says Hofmann, who was helped by make-up artist Doris Holzapfel, from Artistgroupmierau. Women's hosiery and lingerie specialists, Wolford and La Perla supplied the classy, elegant outfits for the shoot, combined with dresses and jackets by Hugo Boss, all of which was put together by stylist Charlotte Diestel for photos that create some real impact.
We love Markus Hofmann’s work and we have, in fact, featured some of it earlier on this website here, where he shot the S1000RR with the world's fastest female motorcyclist, Leslie Porterfield. Here’s wishing Markus all the best for his future shoots!
