2013 MV Agusta F4 gets ABS with RLM

The 2014 MV F4, now with Bosch ABS

The 2013 MV Agusta F4 range is now available with the latest Bosch 9MPlus anti-lock braking (ABS) system, which is also integrated with an ‘anti rear wheel lift’ (RLM) system. The Bosch unit contains brake pressure sensors that interface with two phonic wheels (one each on the bike’s front and rear wheels) and in addition to preventing wheel lock-up, the system also prevents relative deceleration from causing the rear wheel to lose contact with the asphalt and stops the bike from tipping forward under hard braking at high speeds.

The MV Agusta F4’s ABS has two modes – normal mode, which provides effective intervention at all times, and race mode, which limits the system's intervention to the minimum possible, which is ideal for use on the track. ABS can also be fully disengaged by the rider.

The 2013 MV Agusta F4 is priced at 17,990 euros, the F4R is priced at 20,290 euros and the F4RR costs an impressive 25,290 euros.
