According to MV Agusta, their new F3 800 offers “The exhilaration of a 1OOOcc superbike with the handling of a 600cc, the torque of a v-twin and the rev limit of a four-cylinder.” And indeed, with its 800cc three-cylinder engine, which produces 148 horsepower and 88Nm of torque, dry weight of 173 kilos, high-spec chassis and suspension, a full-blown electronics package that includes ABS and 8-level adjustable traction control, and a top speed of 269km/h, the new F3 800 may well be all the “superbike” anyone really needs.
We like the new F3 800 though we do wish MV had hired a new designer - the styling is getting a bit old and all their superbikes look almost exactly the same...
